Sebastian Winter is a composer who specializes in film music. After graduating with honors from The Royal Northern College of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Composition, Sebastian relocated from Manchester to New York City to commence his graduate studies at The Juilliard School.

Sebastian combines his passion for orchestral writing with tasteful modular electronics to achieve an elevated and unique signature sound.

Past projects include working in the music departments of Hollywood productions including The Flash (Warner Bros), Kraven the Hunter (Sony), Hellboy (Lionsgate), Hostile Planet (National Geographic), Algiers, America (Hulu), and many more.
 

During his time at Juilliard, Sebastian was mentored by Oscar-winning composer John Corigliano. He has also worked with Deborah Lurie, Chad Cannon, David Krystal, as well as Jesse Carmichael and interned with Hans Zimmer’s studio in Santa Monica.

 

Other works include a collaboration with the architects and developers of the new World Trade Center site in Manhattan on a symphony revolving around the site’s redevelopment. Winter’s music has been performed in venues such as the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School.
